Join the Chicago Catholic Choir for our Spring concert entitled “Show Thyself a Mother.”
Drawn from the ancient Marian hymn “Ave Maris Stella,” our concert theme celebrates the beauty and profundity of motherhood as depicted in scripture and the liturgy with the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Anne as its exemplars.
The concert will include works by St. Hildegard, Monteverdi, Fux, Dufay, Victoria, Lassus, and ourdirector Kevin Allen.
